You're all very lovely, I know. But there's a few things to bear in mind....
1. Please don't flame! If someone disagrees with you ("The Smiths are better than Morrissey!" "Morrissey's better than The Smiths") don't end up engaging in playground name-calling. It's not big and it's not clever.
2. Downloads: I have to be careful here. Now, there's no naughty downloads on this site, but it's a legal grey area when links are posted to them on the messageboard. We all know that they're only illegal because the music business is run by thieves, who don't like it when other people tread on their toes. However, if you want to put up a link to a download, please do so using the private message system. That way... I don't know you're doing it. 
3. "Adult" content: I doubt very much that Morrissey has many fans amongst the under-10s who would come to this website. Apart from my cat when he tries to get my attention and walks all over the keyboard. Do not post images of nudity, violence and other dodginess on the site, and please use a warning if you plan to post a link to sites that contain that sort of thing. Now, I'm not being a prude (some of you know very well that I'm not!), but I take issue with things like that being splattered about in public. There's a time and a place for everything, people.
4. Moderation: I'm the sole moderator of this messageboard, and so far there haven't been any problems - well, apart from the messageboard collapsing at regular intervals. However, if you have got any issues you want to raise about the messageboard or one of its users, please do get in touch with me, either by a pm or email.
5. Lee-way: Who's that? Is he going to stand up and defend Morrissey? Perhaps. But... if there's any rule you're not sure about or think is harsh, or maybe there's another rule you think should be included here and isn't, please let me know. We could discuss it here with the other users too, if needs be.
6. Avatars / icons and signatures: Please don't use enormous avatars/icons as they can warp the messageboard layout and make posts difficult to read. Please don't use enormous images as part of your signature - they make life nightmarish for dial-up users. Also, keep the signature to a sensible size - I can't count the number of messageboards where some people's signatures are about five times bigger than the posts they make, which is... well... STUPID. And it's not going to happen here. I'll be polite about it, of course, but I'll be doing bunny ears above your head.
7. The following will not be tolerated: racism, homophobia, misogyny, advocation of violence towards humans or animals (unless aimed at Richard Madeley or Tony Wilson), negative comments about disability and mental health, or hatred towards men. Any posts containing these will be removed and the poster will be "spanked with a wet plimsoll." By Arturo.
8. You don't need more than one username. Unless you think it's funny to pretend you're Boz, looking for a drinking buddy. If you must register another username for a joke, please make it clear that it's a joke! DO NOT pretend you are Morrissey, Julia, Morrissey's mum, one of Gary's tattoos, Alain Whyte's quiff or Johnny Marr's barrow boy hat (unless this is who you actually are) in a lame attempt to get laid. I'm sure you're lovely anyway without a disguise. It goes without saying that setting up a username to harrass and troll people is muchly frowned upon as it just ain't very nice. IP addresses can be located and banned, email addresses can be banned, usernames can be banned.... etc etc.
9. Have fun, make friends, swap thrilling anecdotes, get in fights with complete strangers... well... maybe not the last one. But go forth, people, and type!
