|
The hardcore handful of you who continue to post on this messageboard are very sweet. It's nice to know you regularly check out the site.
As you may have noticed, the site hasn't been updated for a while. I don't really know why this is, but it may have something to do with my mind changing. Lately I've become far more visual, rather than word-based, so I'm finding it hard to come up with articles to write. Even if I do come up with an idea, by the following day I've either forgotten what it is or I'll realise that it was actually quite crap so I don't bother writing it.
So really I just wanted to say that the pace at which articles have been added has slowed down and that it's not going to be speeding up again in the foreseeable future.
I've tried various things to get the word out about the site, and it's not as if I started the site without any content on it, unlike some others which seem to expect other people to provide the website's content. The site gets plenty of hits, but I get very little feedback which can sometimes lead to me feeling like I'm yelling in a vaccuum.
I'm certainly not going to close the site down, and obviously when I think of something I'll put it up here, and I'll keep looking out for articles and things which I think might work over here.
But just don't expect a big ol' update any time soon.
And I haven't gone off Morrissey, either. I just have writer's block.
I spose as well I find Morrissey fandom a bit perplexing at times. Some of the other fans scare me (I won't go into it here. I could write several articles about that alone, but it would be a bit too navel-gazing even for a Moz site) and that could have contributed to my lack of inspiration for anything to write.
Possibly my own perception/way of being a Moz fan is different from most people's.
This site was only ever a hobby and there's a good body of work on it, contributed by lots of people, so I'm certainly not going to pull the plug on it. I'm still remembering to pay the rent for the hosting. Just that it's kind of gone to sleep for a while. _________________ The English take their pleasures sadly. |

That's really sweet of you!
Well, we're more polite over here, and we don't have humungous signatures at the end of every post! _________________ The English take their pleasures sadly. |

Thanks, guys!
I think I have actually gone a bit mad. I'm making hairflowers... and I'm setting up a shop on pinup-parade.com selling pin-up/vintage vamp/rockabilly/50s style stuff. _________________ The English take their pleasures sadly. |
